Inspiring words of wisdom

As I'm about to go it alone and try creating my spring newsletter in mail chimp all by myself (no help from my web designer this time!) I have discovered all sorts of old scripts running in my head about how I'll never be able to master all this technology! I watched my overwhelm build to the point that I felt myself becoming very ostrich like and burying my head in the snow (well there sure ain't no sand here in golden in april!!) and finding all sorts of excuses and avoidance tactics!

As I observed my procrastination and the critical voice that is pretty good at beating the baby I tried to just sit with it knowing these days that eventually I get my act together and step beyond the fear and it usually all works out just fine in the end. What also came to mind were the inspiring words of Goethe in his famous quote

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now."

And I realised how much I've used his powerful advice as a mantra in my life....mostly when I am facing something that I am scared to do, and it's carried me beyond my paralysing fears without fail everytime.

Isn't it funny how the most inspiring quotes for us often hold within them the antidote to our most pressing fears, blocks or limitations! I wonder what your most inspiring quote is?

In these times of economic struggle, and planetary strife it's all the more important to seek out those words of hope and inspiration of those that have come before us, our elders....those who have walked before us and created the history books and left us these little pearls of wisdom that can help us through our day when things get tough.

I'd love to hear who's words have inspired you in your life.....lets get a sharing going and give ourselves a little springtime boost! We deserve it!
